The Thief Poem by Jennifer Birchall

The Thief

Rating: 5.0

No Christmas spirit here
No joy and laughter in me
No sparking decorations hung
No lights lighting up the windows
No presents beneath a beautifully decorated tree
No tinned biscuits or chocolates bought
No cupboard stocked with party food and drink
No cards written and posted
No parties or drinks with colleagues to toast the year
No Christmas song playlist filling the room
Someone has stolen Christmas
Can the thief please return it
