The Tides Of Time Poem by Noah Body

The Tides Of Time

Rating: 5.0

The waves roll in, the waves roll out
Pushing and pulling with out end
Caught in their grasp life is a rout
Leading where I cannot comprehend

Ceaselessly the waves wax and wane
Dragged from here, deposited there
Their disregard is somehow profane
Leaving the heart filled with despair

Nothing changes, nothing remains the same
Life's endless tides sculpting anew
New artwork created inside a new frame
The tides of time one can never subdue

So beautifully penned. These waves can certainly give a wild ride. Never warning. Yet somehow inner strength and determination keep us going.
