The Time We Spend Together
The time we spend together
Means so much to me
For it shall keep me warm
When together we shan't be
The time we spend together
Was destined centuries ago
And it filled our hearts with a longing
Unknown to me before.
When you are away I long for those times
When words make no sense or poems rhyme
But I know someday you'll come back to me
And then apart from each other we shall never be.
