The Timing Off-Schedule Poem by Eillio Imbasciati

The Timing Off-Schedule

The ins and outs of being on the outside looking in,
Oh well
Looking forward,
He questions her instincts
No sense of the moment,
The timing off-schedule
After more than a decade of connection,
The pieces haven't come together,
As if she remains unaware of his tendencies before
At least the word is still good,
Better than the hanging Chad or the dollar bill,
But he's still left staring at the display outside,
Seeing everything but not able to participate
