The Taste Needs Seasoning Poem by Eillio Imbasciati

The Taste Needs Seasoning

Learn, concern
Cannot afford denial, it's too expensive
Interest rate low,
Kind of bored, imagine nothing
As the dull moments approach with regularity,
Lifting his head takes effort, so heavy
Words don't materialize,
Or, when they do, decline to stay for a spell
Movements stales,
Bones cranky
Maybe that's only hereditary
The taste needs seasoning,
Flavor old and the discarded gum on a broad sidewalk
What to do,
When he's thrown to the point that he's through?
Okay, just wait for more to arrive then,
Although he's very worried
