The Tower Preachers Poem by douglas lewis

The Tower Preachers

Rating: 5.0

Those waggling tongues
Of village bells
That preach in pealing gossip.
Those high almighty pulpits
That gather all the secrets
When the curtains close.
The people pray in whispers
But the all echoes know.
