The glorious tricolor unfurls in pride
A sight that brings tears to our eyes
On this day we remember a struggle,
A fight that brought us our prize

The Indian Republic is something to behold
A union of many, a unity of one
A nation that stands for justice,
A people whose freedom has won

We salute the heroes of the past
Those who fought for our rights
The brave souls who gave us freedom
In the struggle for what was right

So let us raise our voices in song
A song of pride and of joy
Let us celebrate our Republic Day
A day that we should enjoy!
