The Trick To Moving On Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Trick To Moving On

Many of our great Poets publish
On Poemhunter.com great writes
About the tricks to holding on
To going forward, and to moving on
On a daily basis. We earn the rights
To be swift and not being childish
About words that a famous singer
Had haphazardly put together
And she called her work: a poem
She is en vogue, she is popular
However, a new theorem
Has yet to be created
People are flabbergasted
And are making a lot of noise
About her intellect, her pause
Oh! She will be nominated
Next year for the Nobel Prize
In literature. The world is full of lies
Which become the truths
We are drowning in fantasies
Which become sad realities
Start playing the guitars and the lutes
Because I am singing and fainting
I am going, moving on swiftly
The tailor is too lazy
To finish the painting
And the poet is taking note
This time, again, nobody is at fault
I am drowning in a sea of words
And I am being watched by many lords.

P.S. Congratulations and many thanks to you.
