The Truth Doesn'T Hurt Poem by Terry Donovan

The Truth Doesn'T Hurt

Rating: 3.5

I know, my love, another holds you tight.
I know, my love, that you're where you belong.
And even through my long and sleepless nights,
I know my love what's right. I know what's wrong.
I love you as I've never loved before.
When I met you a brand new life began.
But I must hide my love forever more.
I'd never want to be the 'other man'.
I know you'll think of me from time to time,
And in our dreams we a have a meeting place
Where what we do will never be a crime,
Where will not say sorry, just say grace.
So please don't change. Just stay the way you are,
While I love you in secret from afar.
