The Truth Inside Of Me Poem by one man alone

I search for only truth
but never seem to find
of all the words I write
the truth stays in my mind

I dream the broken dream
then wake up in the night
but can never find the truth
inside the words I write

I'm feeling so alone,
inside this place I face
I'm feeling like a star
alone inside of space

I think of all those years
in my past now left to waste
I drank the devils blood
but never liked the taste

as I search inside this life,
of these inner city walls
I can never find the truth
but inside my mind it crawls

I know it hides somewhere
this truth inside of me
while the world just tells me lies
the truths so plain to see
