The Truth Of Mortal Life Poem by Mahathi Mydavolu

The Truth Of Mortal Life

Is this madness or groping in reverie?
My kith and kin, these loving near and dear;
their love, these bonds and little talk I hear
from them...can be a senseless comedy? !
Watching from solid pier, can I call sea
a mere mirage and sky as zero sphere?
This joy in pain and tears betwixt some cheer,
this flesh and blood...are mine, so dear to me!

Let truth be myth or myth be truth; be there
a God or not; philosophy apart!
But sure, some sacred grace had played it fair;
in sprucing world into a lovely fare
of shapely moulds and gorgeous art. Why thwart
such prize...enjoy... but with prudence and care!
