The Vampire's Kiss Poem by Joseph Stellin Jr.

The Vampire's Kiss

Rating: 5.0

The Vampire's Kiss

Cloaked in darkness
Gracefully crossing the room
Shadowless light upon the walls
Face, pale as the moon

Lips, the color ruby red
Eyes black as the night
Seeking out his victims
Full moon shining bright

He plucks from the daintiest of flowers
Destitute souls, appearing lost
Inviting them to his castle
No feelings, no remorse

Draining them of life's elixir
Their minds torn by fear and bliss
To live the life of the unliving
Compliments of the Vampire's kiss

An insightful depiction of phantom wandering of vampires, well articulated and nicely penned in poetic diction with conviction. The poem reminded me of the serial movie DRACULA in which Christopher Lee starred as the vampire. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Joseph. Please read my poem COLOSSAL MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE.
