The Vase Fills Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

The Vase Fills

drop after drop
drop drop
the vase fills

the vase rests on the tomb
stone

the night-dews were also
drop after drop

where glow-worms in late evening
glowed
there be drops, drops of
night-dews
waters that seeped from level to
level
of the cemetery

the vases fill and fill and fill
and Earth goes bustling by.
