The Virgin Land Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The Virgin Land

The virgin land

I never cared
Or nurtured
The idea of loving
With inner feeling

I was brought in many times
With love gestures
But I was insensible enough
To push it back and laugh

May be fault on my part
But I was unaware of love art
That it needs some honor
With compromise and humor too

So I got its hint
As if flower's scent
Just made nostrils wide
To smell right now and decide

Yes, love made me to spell
And go well
With any offer if that is made
And allow the virgin land to be ploughed with spad4e
