The Walk Of A Bent Man Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

The Walk Of A Bent Man

The walk of a bent man
The walk of an old man
Walk of an ancient man
Faltering down the steps
Shaking not with chill
Bent as bent will be
And pallid in the face:
Bent and shadow grey
Walking - almost creeps
Into the night and chill
In old Valletta!
