The Wall Has No Voice Poem by Heath Gunn

The Wall Has No Voice

Rating: 5.0

Alone i sit, isolated,
staring at the wall.
Yet i'm sure that if it had a voice
it would tell me all.
Opportunities i have wasted,
talent i have burned.
And to point out to me just how few,
lifes lessons i have learned.
For the wall is not my allie,
Nor a rock on which to lean.
Yet so steadfast, strong and sheer it stands,
Not like lifes balance beam.
