Jerrico had a gigantic wall
And God commanded for it to fall,
Because of the people inside
For God and for others their was no faith or pride.
Israel sent two spies inside the fortress
They were worried and in distress,
They were helped by Rehab the prostitute
She hid the spies on her roof.
And then the walls of Jerrico fell
As the Lord God did tell,
And the only ones that was left alive
Was Rehab and her family, through God's faith they did survive.
A wall was created to keep people and ideas out
Which many dictators proudly will shout,
And a wall can keep people and dreams in
Along with bans and crimes and sin.
Over any wall a bird can always fly
And a gopher can tunnel under it if it will try,
And if God makes his righteous sound
Any and every wall will then tumble down.
Let's build a wall to keep immigrants out and away
Many still scream that from their houses today,
They want a mighty wall to be built
They feel no sadness or remorse and or guilt.
I remember once upon a time
When being an immigrant was no crime,
Then when Russia built a wall in hate and to scoff
Then American's screamed, "tear down this wall! Gorbachev! "
