The Water Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

The Water

The water

He, farmer
-led water to
-the lands; prepared
- (as he saw…)

While in a nap
-his skin burned
-he searched
-scratched
-looked for cause…

Stopped
Started
Stopped

Undressed
Searched
Searched
Searched
For a thorn,
Sand or dust…

Redressed
Repeated
Same
Same
Same
Itching
Painful
Bites…

Tired
Worn
But blind

Undressed
Searched
Searched
Searched
For a thorn
Sandy dust…

Found nothing
"Is Demon! "
Said with doubt!

Redressed
Repeated
Same
Same
Same
Itching
Painful
Bites…

Unaware he was
An Ignorant
To the cause!

A few homeless ants
After that genocide
Found shelter
In the farmers garments
Using him as their food
Ate flesh…

Redressed
Repeated
Same
Same
Same
Itching
Biting
Pain

Tired
Worn
A blind

He remained
To the end.
He, therefore
Got had deserved
(Story of butchers.)
