The Water's Surface Poem by Alex Choi

The Water's Surface

As I am older I see myself alone. I'm at a lake as it seems the water stand out to me. I looked around no one to be seen in sight. As I pick up a pebble I throw a pebble at the lake. I can see the water turn in to ripples. I felt like a young boy. However I guess it seems that I am sad. No matter how hard I tried it seems I have no one with me. Everyone of my frineds left me after they found better things to do then be with me. When I walked home I saw my friends but not a single one of them bothered to remmeber me. I guess it seemed it would be better if I just disappeared. I am a man of negativity. I know nothings going to happen as I plan. So I leave you all for my presence isn't needed.
