I watch the wave of night
Sitting atop an earthy mound
Slowly usurping the land
From the east, without a sound
It crashes against tall trees,
Buildings, bowers and towers
With gossips about ghosts
And witches it has much powers
I watch the wave of night
Coming in a dancer's mood
Whistling through thick woods
It tarries over lands to brood
Adorned with the sparkling
Stars it marches on as a knight
With sweet music of silence it
Rules the land till it turns into light
I watch the wave of night Coming in a dancer's mood Whistling through thick woods It tarries over lands to brood.....wave, , music of silence.... soo very poetic in each stanza., . thank u for this fine poem my dear poet. tony
