The Wave Of Terror Poem by Sneha Murali

The Wave Of Terror

The sea so calm and peaceful,
Relieves our tension and stress.
But, alas, now the sea is the cause,
For all the lives that it did suppress.

The wave of terror that hit many and killed,
On the 26th of the month December,
Would be what all the people and families,
Would forever remember.

The tragedy that befell the people,
Was an unforgetful one indeed.
It was the reason and the main cause,
For many who did die and bleed.

'I mean you no harm', the sea once lied,
And for years it remained faithful.
But now of all the people that have died,
The loved ones think that the sea was disgraceful.

The people who have lost their loved ones,
In this unforgetful tragedy,
Have no use of all the money we all give in tons,
Because they know that with this,
They will not get back the ones they lost already.
