My love,

The waves of the sea long
To see us together as before
They whisper our love songs
That echo at sea's core

The waves of the sea
Witnessed us sharing vows
Long before written history
On a shore known only by sparrows

And I love the sea; and I love its waves
They listen to my secrets, with them I feel safe
Isn't the sea of forgetfulness a grave
Where past lives are washed away by waves?

But my past lives with you
Still breathe in my heart and soul
How can I ever forget your love
Still engraved at my heart's walls!
