The Way Home Poem by Lilly Mystic

The Way Home

I was carried away on a lonely breeze
a wild dandelion blown far away not knowing where I might land
where I took seed in foreign soil

blossoming anew in this strange land
my tender roots drinking from the nourishing soil
feeling like a delicate weed

a little girl found me
seeing beauty in my bloom
closing her eyes blowing and making a wish

her wish and mine granted
a seedling once more being carried on a gentle breeze
all the way back home

On a lonely breeze! With a lovely bloom. Nice piece of work.
