The Ways Of War Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

The Ways Of War

The price of blood!
The ways of war;
Long arms and short legs,
With the hardness of the hearts of men.
Lust!
Feast,
Drinks,
Short arms and long legs;
And the doom followed.

Jewels of waters!
Destroyed by the muse of war;
With the price of blood in the hands of the wicked,
Womb, bomb, tomb!
With the weapons of war destroying mankind.
Inconsistency!
Triggered with the muse of hatred;
With blood stains on the ground, grass and flowers! !
As many were inflamed with wine.
