The Werwolf Poem by norman hale

The Werwolf

The Werwolf

The sun will soon be up
There's a burning in my eyes
This werwolf hide
Is no kind of disguise

It won't be long until halloween
It's then I'll be able to feed
On all those unexpected souls
It's the anticipated hunt that i need

I'll hide behind what ever I can
Once I grab one, it will be my defeat
They won't have time to scream
Before i bite into the flesh, and eat the meat

Then drag them off, after I'm all done
And hide the final remains
Then it's off to find another victim
It's always their loss, but my gain

I am a predator in the dark
But in the daylight I'm just like one of you
And in the dark I become the werwolf again
This cycle just keeps going without any clue
