As I fly the flags of my country and of my state
With pride and honor patriots will fight and wait,
As true patriots always walks through heaven's gate
Today, as I remember it is another proud date.
This I happily and patriotically now do say
With a shout and a clap and a hip hip hooray,
Unto those southern losers I will not support or pray
So, Happy, Happy Confederate surrender day!
It happened over one hundred and fifty years ago
When the bugle of defeat they did finally blow,
From evil and hate and blood they did sow
True freedom in their veins not once did flow.
They were traitors and conspirators one and all
They wanted democracy and the United States to fall,
About them and their states they wanted to build a wall
They didn't want to live or obey our country's law.
They didn't support of fought for the bill of rights
And against the U.S constitution they set their fights,
All men created equal was not in their sites
They fought and stood for only the whites.
Today I will fly their white surrender flag
Instead of their confederate banner that filthy, nasty rag,
About their belief no one should be proud or brag
Behind traitors and turncoats their sins will not ever lag.
Sadly many American patriots did not survive
Sadly many patriotic Americans didn't make it out alive
Freedom for all did finally arrive
When the confederates surrendered on April the 9th 1865.
