The Wind

The wind has blown me out of mind.
I wished for you,
you looked at me a wave upon the sea.
The wind has blown all night through me.
You inquired about what howls.
My shout you never leaving heard.
Is peace for me a simple breeze.
Discerned with naked eyes?
On the earth each night I dream of dreams.
The wind could blow to you if I said yes.
You blew that through my mind,
and left me half exposed.
You were my heart, my heart you never knew.
