I heard the winner takes it all,
When something good has to die.
Well, this time I'm the winner,
And this time you have to cry.
I heard lies can be forgiven,
And dreams can be renewed.
I doubt that could ever happen,
When it comes to me and you.
You let go long ago,
Of all I had to give.
So I am letting go today,
So that now I can truly live.
