The Woman Of My Dreams Poem by Randy McClave

The Woman Of My Dreams

Unto God Almighty I made an appeal
To help comfort my will,
The woman of my dreams I truly desired
For her I know I would be greatly inspired.
I prayed and I asked for her nightly
Unto God I always asked politely,
Then that miracle finally one day did occur
When the day came and I saw her.
She was indeed the woman of my dreams
She walked on moonbeams,
And whenever she had walked past
I was aghast.
She was the most beautifulest woman I ever seen
I wanted her as my Queen,
I wanted her forever at my side
My affection could not ever be denied.
She knew truly how I felt
From every romance card I had dealt,
She then had me where she wanted me
On my knee.
I then became her slave
Whatever I had, to her I happily gave,
Whatever she wanted I went in debt and bought
And whatever she needed I always sought.
I now spend most of my everyday
Always doing things her way,
And whenever I needed her, and rest
Never not once did she make me feel blessed.
I remember the clothes that she wore
And the new ones I bought for her at the store
About her I remember everything
Especially how she wanted a wedding ring.
I still remember when I spoke to the Lord
When I pleaded on my own accord,
I still remember I said a prayer
The woman of my dreams, was my nightmare.
