The Word Of God

The Word of God is eternal
And held in highest esteem
By it the worlds were created
All of the seen and the unseen
Magnificant in its power
As the Truth revealed to men
Personified in the Lord Jesus Christ
Who is coming back again

With the execution of authority
He spoke and it was done
To the healing of the body
And for forgiveness of our sin
In Him our Resurrection
Who said He would arise
Remains our steadfast confidence
For in Him all hope lies

Quick and powerful is the Word
To our deepest penetration
Bringing conviction by the Spirit
With the offering of Salvation
Look and live by faith believe
See the gifting through God's Son
If you hear His still small voice
Repent and trust this One

Say per chance have you not heard
There's a God who is on a mission
To bring the heart's of each man and woman
To a place of sure submission
To know the joy of sins forgiven
And the Father's love above
It's all expressed in the Word of God
His greatest expression of love!
