The World Has Gone Insane - Poem by Jessica LaDuron

people die all over the place
children are killed everyday,
i try to stay calm,
and collective,
but i can't
i break down crying,
and end up torturing my pillow,
with my piercing screams
people are so cruel,
and i don't know why,
we are killing our world,
and everything we know and love will leave us in a forthnight.
we will all die,
and our souls will never rest.

What you say is true. Your poem says it all and you have summarized it pretty well.
