The worlds of being and becoming
are the two stages of reality
which meet in the spirit of man.
In mystical experience,
the temporal plane is cut off,
and at the expense
of the lower kind of reality,
the eternal plane emerges.
Thus the sacrifice which mystics
make to attain the vision of truth
is self-fulfillment rather than self-denial.

A spiritual gem, dear Tony! For me, reading such poems by itself is a mystical experience! May the vision of truth be our eternal quest! Thank you! Another full 10
