The Wrong Way, At The Wrong Time

The spirit of a unit, being united together,
Has almost faded away, states even disagree,
It was The United States, back in the day.
Small changes some unnoticed, hidden reasons,
Children can go to school and wave their middle,
Finger any direction or way, although to Pray, or,
Say, The Pledge of Allegiance, in a classroom, no way.
About the only way, the average citizen can get their,
Voice to be heard today, social media, which can block,
Or kick you off, which is freedom of speech, taken away.
Elected officials, who use to be servants to the people, now
The wealthy buy their way into office, make up rules, if the,
Citizens do not obey, they lock you away. A doctor's code of ethics,
Is overpowered by the politician's point of view, the patients, health,
Come's second to what the dictators, want and say many more changes,
In The U.S.A. is the country heading the wrong way?
