The Years Have Gone By/Life Has Gone By
The years have gone
Life has gone by
It is almost over
What sadness comes now
At the thought of how much
Has been lost
And how much will be lost forever
And how Life for all its Beauty
And all the people one has known
Will be as if it all and we all were never at all
And I too like my own lonely thoughts
Vanish as if never here.
