The Yezidis Of Ancient Iraq

Who are the Yezidis,
What it their Yezidism,
The fire-worshippers,
Temple-kissers,
The peacock sign adorers
Of Iraq,
The Yezidis?
Who the sun worshippers,
Lamp burners?
With belief in Lalish
They still struggling to survive,
Live up
Nearing the brunt in Sinjar
And living as refugees.
