The Yezidis,
The Yezidis of Iraq,
They are not gipsies,
The nomadic people,
But the Mesopotamian people,
The same historic descendants
Of Sumer, Assyria and Babylonian people,
The sun-worshippers, the fire-worshippers,
The light-burners, the flower-offerers,
The Yezidis,
The Yezidis of Iraq!
