Then in a chamber of the labyrinth
He led me
How white the creaking bones
Scattered random on that cloistered cave
On the damp-oozing floor
Flanked by sweaty walls
Was here I to be left?
But of a sudden the magician
Roughly drew me back
I blessed every pace
Made of that dread labyrinth.
And
At least saw the shining stars
The oxygen of airs of the moon
Under the white lighted canopy
Where suddenly disappearing, he,
The old, the tactical magician
Left my hand, dissolved in mist
And went
And then I walked under the trees and stars.
