There Poem by Alexander Romanov

There

The wind knocks me down,
The moon is slanting in the sky.
I'm lonely, I need a drink.
Just a breath of your air...
As my night falls.

Somewhere.... where there are millions of stars,
Ions are buried.
Whether in jest or not,
We know what fate on us shall befall.

In order each other not hurt,
We scraped our hearts and burned our souls.
We left trails of scars
As through the trenches of life
We crawled.

This pen paints phrases,
But fails to capture the essence,
Of pain that sears through my soul.
Oh how i wish to be with you,
And put together the sky's puzzle,
In a heavenly waterfall.

There... there no one will ever ask,
How we lived in life's fog.
In the trash, lies the murdered autumn,
The rain's cold tears on her cheeks fall.

I'll try to hold on,
Not knowing what is to come.
On the knife's edge dances my fate,
My dreams buried in the depths,
They lie all.

My heart trembles
Like the lashes of your eyes.
What in this life counts?
If I were rich, I would give it all,
So this sun doesn't freeze,
My personal little star...
You, one... and all.

But the wind knocks me down,
The moon is slanting in the sky.
I'm lonely, I need a sip,
Just a sip of your soul...
