The best selling films are good versus evil,
set in a world much like our own.
The metaphors show blatant parallels,
as we relate with all of the characters shown.
It gives us a sense,
of overcoming dark times,
when we haven't really done much,
except let reality sneak by.
All of these writers have good ideas,
for their films are an obvious protest.
Well why aren't they out on the streets waving signs,
with the brave folks who get jailed
for following actions of what all of these movies suggest?
It's money, they're paid, for symbolizing on film,
that which the real dark cabal would have none of.
If society 'Likes' a film, that ends with an uproar,
they assume that it makes them an active survivor.
"Because that we enjoyed the message displayed,
we did out part, when we walked in and paid.
Did you see that part when they out-witted the dark side?
I'm psyched to see these movies, that really read my mind."
It's sad and not right, to watch each audience absorb,
all this false sense of achievement, while munching on popcorn.
If you like all these films, where we defeat the dark villains,
well then please take it to the streets,
or else firmly admit that you don't mind mass killings.
It's one or the other, black or white,
I'm sorry but there's no in between.
So back up your 'Likes', this now is your chance.
Isn't that what you asked for? You're own starring scene?
