There Is A Gorge, Which To Span Poem by james watkin

There Is A Gorge, Which To Span

There is a gorge, which to span
And to cross in safety
Looks an unmanageable task.
Birth's and Death's; far-sighing.

Throwing scorn out across it
Of strong faith underpinned
Shrinks it for worth; for worry
Contracts to child-leapt thing.
