There Is A Man Poem by Robert Edgar Burns

There Is A Man

There is a man who would never go,
Away from you or hurt you so.
Who thinks you are his morning light,
And the twinkle in the stars at night.

There is a man who worships you,
And bows down at your throne.
Who would live out in the wilderness,
If your love you had not shown.

There is a man who needs your arms,
And all that you possess.
Your lips, your smiles, your many charms,
To make his heart beat in his chest.

There is a man who sees your eyes,
Then melts down to the floor.
He's drowning in those pools of love,
But keeps coming back for more.

There is a man who'd give his life,
To protect you from what's wrong.
And when you finally came to him,
Make love with you all night long.

There is a man whose very heart
Is flooded like the sea,
With waves and streams of purest love,
For you girl and, it's me!
I AM THAT MAN!
