I knew you since I was little
Your name is in religious song's title
You are worship by the people
and Your words are written in the bible.

I had never stopped believing that you exist
However, I don't know how to know you best
Your messages are long and I was too little to know what's next
I didn't know that it's fulfilling to know the rest.

I lived life faraway from You
because the darkness just won't let me see You through
I was tempted by the beast in everything that I do
I did not realize that there's You whom I can talk to.

My family loves me but there are times I can't feel it
So I tried seeking love from others hoping to find a bit
I tried to be good just to find love from someone I just met
I didn't know there's You whose love made my heart beat.

Now I knew You again through a book
and that book, at the sky made me look
and at night, to You I sincerely talk
And I know that there's You who's with me in every path that I took.
