Butterflies Poem by Marjorie Mandahinog

Butterflies

Rating: 4.8

In the dark and cruel world I see,
A young untamed caterpillar,
Crawling hopelessly in the wind,
On the trees and bushes,
She stumbled and fell.
Rolled back and crawled again.
Till she hid herself inside her skin,
Where a beautiful life is about to begin.

Lovely motivational piece of poetry depicting courage, hope, and faith; as one strives for a future greater than past and present deplorable situations. A well articulated and nicely encapsulated piece of poetry insightfully penned with conviction. Thanks for sharing Majorie. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
