There's A Blessing Poem by Gary James Smith

There's A Blessing

There's A Blessing

There's a blessing to sold out saints
Who are totally devoted to God
Who enjoy the knowing of answered prayer
An endued portion of love from above
For great is our God's faithfulness
To the worker's in His field
Who see that they are white unto harvest
And to the world they do not yield

But guided by compassionate hearts
And gilded within by prayer
They daily surmount the scenarios
That rise up everywhere
What mighty fortress is our God
Who paid sins ransom price
To enable me to live henceforth
Not for I but Christ

Out of my sins darkness
And into His glorious light
He is able more than able
To rescue from any soul's plight
Salvation...O what a wonder!
The gift of eternal life
To rescue lost souls from the pit of Hell
May it be our chief delight!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
