There's Nothing Else Sweeter Poem by Joyce Hemsley

There's Nothing Else Sweeter

Why does the grape cling to the vine
Why does the ivy cling to the Shrine.
Why does his diamond cling to her finger
Because he's in love
And he's running to meet her.

Why does the nightingale's singing enthral
Why does his heartbeat thrill to her call
Why does a beautiful song ever linger
Because he's in love
And there's nothing else sweeter.
