There was a time in my life when I was hurt and all I felt was pain. You were there to remind me that with love, there was more to gain.

There was a time in my life when every turn I make seems to fail. You were there to remind me that with trust, the right turn is there.

There was a time in my life when my world was all a lie. You were there to remind me that with honesty, eventually that world would die.

There was a time in my life when I was weak. You were there to remind me that with strength, there was no such thing.

There was a time in my life when it was filled with darkness. You were there to help me find the light, without you, I would be helpless.


Tyson,

I am who I am today because of the love you shown me, the trust you have in me, the honesty you’ve given me, the strength that you believed in me, and the light that you’ve brought back into my life. You are my first born, my first love, my first everything, and I am soooo proud of the boy that you are today. I love you more than words can say……mom.
