There's A Man Poem by Randy McClave

There's a man who says he's a Christian
To anyone who will believe or listen,
To all the teachings of Jesus we have followed and hailed
He has consistently failed.
He cannot recite one Bible verse
As though he sees and believes it as a curse,
And he proudly holds the Bible upside down
Which I answer, with a frown.
His followers all call him their lord
As they defend and protect him with guns or a sword,
They said he was sent here as Jesus was
With the man they are truly and deeply in love.
Nearly all of the Lords commandments he has broken
Lies and hate by him are constantly spoken,
He is untrustworthy, sinful and evil and seedy
And he is uncaring and also very greedy.
He has turned sister against brother
Father against mother,
And as many families sat at the dinner table
He has turned Cain against Abel.
He had signed many golden Bibles which are for sale
Not to donate or giveaway to sick, the lost or the frail,
And his followers call him a Christian man
But, that's not his true plan.
He would not place his hand on a Bible to take an oath
He ignore God and the Holy Spirit both
Now he's followers and worshippers call him a Christian
Sadly no one does truly look and listen.
