There's Nothing Like A Welcome Home
There's nothing like a welcome home
That can fill our heart's with praise
That longing and awaiting moment
Just to see a familiar face
When love embraces with realism
We're welcomed just as we are
With the enthusiasm of the sharing of times
That once again will draw us near
The opening up of the heartstrings
Which is always music to our ears
The long awaited conversations
Sometimes which we've missed for years
There's nothing like companionship
With a flowing of great conversation
With a listening ear of pure content
And a keen sense of observation
God has blessed us with such emotions
So that we might be the blessing
To be the friend that others would seek
With whom to share of our deepest confessions
Such is the Father's want for us
That we might be embraced by Him
And welcomed home by those loving arms
Who can grant the forgiveness for sin...
Hallelujah what a Saviour!
