There's Nothing Poem by Gary James Smith

There's Nothing

Rating: 5.0

There's Nothing

There's nothing of greater consequence
Then the saving of our soul
For Satan has left an indelible mark on it
The wages of sin is death
We all haveearned our due
Our nature eternally tainted because of it

But praise God to our rescue
Came our Saviour Jesus Christ
Who paid our sin debt fully thank you Lord
And offers us an eternal presence
In the very courts of Heaven
Secured by the faithfulness of His Word

High and Holy lifted up
Like Him there is none other
His name above every name that's named
Prince of peace and mighty God
Counselor and Everlasting Father
Yesterday, today, forever, He's always the same

Repent or you will perish
Jesus gives us warning
Sin is not taken lightly by our Lord
He shed His precious blood
To offer us new life
Salvation through His name by the Word

Find your faith embracing
Such a loving One
Who took our sin and nailed it to a Cross
Look today to the Lamb of God
Earth's most Worthy Sacrifice
Don't leave it off and suffer eternal loss!

Earth's worthy sacrifice reminds us for love and this is great example. God's love always we feel. We shall praise God at each moment. This poem is brilliantly and beautifully penned...10..Amen!
