These Are Just Clouds Passing By Poem by Hebert Logerie

These Are Just Clouds Passing By

The daily routine of life
The faked smile of the wife
These are just clouds passing by.

The unnecessary pressure of the job
The scream of the old women being robbed
These are just clouds passing by.

The nasty words of the vagabond
The grimaces of the jerks on bail
These are just clouds passing by.

The loud sound of the Angelus bell
Oh! Several fish are drowning in the pond
These are just clouds passing by.

Countless students and staff are protesting
To stop violence. This is devastating
These are just clouds passing by.

We cannot block or stop the clouds
The sun is always shining, never mind the crowds
These are just clouds passing by.

Regardless, the clouds will continue to pass by
Far away from the vicious eagles in the sky.
